Global Vision offers Infrastructure Projects business undertakes construction of Heavy Civil projects through four strategic Business Units, meeting international standards of quality.  EPC services are offered for transportation infrastructure projects as well as hydel and nuclear power projects. 

ROADS & RUNWAYS

Creating high quality national infrastructure for transportation is one of the prime areas of operations. The Roads & Runways Business Unit has executed some of the very important stretches on the national highways and state highways including expressways.  Strengthening and widening of roads constitute yet another major activity. 

Expertise also covers construction of race tracks/test tracks for high-speed motor sports requiring precision and specialised surface treatment. Maintenance works for national and state highways are carried out using sophisticated equipment for resurfacing.
 
The Business Unit also builds world-class runways to international standard specifications.  Some of the longest runways in the country with compatibility for landing the new generation aircrafts like Airbus A-380 with CAT IIIB Instrument Landing System have been built by the BU.

BRIDGES, METROS & PORTS

We build bridges of various types and spans which include: 

• Precast, RCC and prestressed concrete girders launched in position.
• Precast and prestressed concrete truss bridges.
• Continuous span bridges in steel, concrete and composite construction in steel and concrete.
• Box girder construction using advanced formwork systems.
• Balanced cantilever PSC box girder with form traveller.
• Single-cell continuous-span box girder by incremental launching.
• Precast segmental construction. 

We have the expertise to design special launching and erection techniques, including special systems formwork for concrete deck on top of steel and concrete structures. Jack-down systems are used for accelerated well-sinking.

We also build specialized infrastructure for Underground & Elevated Mass Rapid Transit Systems using specialized methods like Tunneling using Tunnel Boring Machines or Earth Pressure Balancing Machines, Cut & Cover Construction using Top-down or Bottom-up methods.

It has extensive expertise in design and construction of all types of industrial and storage structures. Services are offered for long span factories / storage structures, cement plants. The BU also provides solutions for construction engineering services. 

POWER TRANSMISSION & DISTRIBUTION PROJECTS

Power Transmission & Distribution Projects (PTDP) offers design and construction services for all types of industrial and project electrification works as well as for power transmission and distribution projects in the domestic markets.  It also extends comprehensive services for construction of buildings and urban Infrastructure projects in the Gulf Markets.
 
PTDP has established a strong presence with a high reputation for execution of prestigious projects in the Gulf Region.

POWER TRANSMISSION & DISTRIBUTION (DOMESTIC)

Electrical Instrumentation & Communication (EI&C) Sector provides turnkey & individual package based solutions in the electrical infrastructure space. EI&C also provides comprehensive services in the field of substations (upto 765kV), project electrification & instrumentation. Wide experience coupled with superior project management skills ensure quality services to customer on a Sustainable basis. Complete activities of the EI&C Sector  are carried out through two business units:

To focus on customized solutions; the sector operates as two Business units (BU) namely

• HV Substation Business Unit
• Industrial Electrification Business Unit
• HV Substation Business Unit:

This business unit offers solutions to High-Voltage, Extra High-Voltage Substations/ Switchyards (ranging from 220 kV to 765 kV) and Power Quality improvement projects right from design, construction, sourcing of equipment, procurement, testing, commissioning and maintenance. Projects handled include both Air Insulated and Gas Insulated substations.  In addition, the BU also offers proven solutions for  the airport segment. International Airports at Hyderabad, Delhi & Mumbai bears a testimony to our superior project execution skills and capabilities. 

The spectrum of services offered includes:

• Design & Construction of High voltage distribution substation (33/11kV) including installation and re-conductoring of existing lines 
• Rural Electrification works involving installation of 11kV low voltage overhead lines, distribution transformers as well as feeder renovation works & metering
• Urban Area Power Quality improvement Projects involving renovation/upgradation of distribution transformers and installation of 11 kV LT lines
• Rural Load Management Systems involving supply and commissioning, mapping of  networks including load flow studies and transformer selection

This business unit undertakes Turnkey & Lump sum contract for project electrification, instrumentation & EHV Cabling works for major industrial projects such as -  Steel, Aluminium, Zinc, Coal, Mining, Chemicals, Fertilizers, Refineries & petrochemical plants,  Glass, Automobile, cement plants, etc in the domestic market.

Instrumentation:

Global Vision Group offers Turnkey solutions for field Instrumentation and Control Systems for a wide variety of industries such as Power, Metallurgical, Water Supply & Treatment, Chemicals & Fertilizers, Refinery & Petrochemical, Oil & Gas Pipelines, Cement Plants and Software Parks. Turnkey solutions are offered for construction of microwave towers including installation of optic fiber cabling for backbone access network.

TRANSMISSION LINES

Global has been transmitting power for more than two decades and offers end-to-end services from design and construction to commissioning of EHV power transmission lines and its offerings include sourcing, selection, inspection and supply of line materials including conductors, insulators, hardware, OPGW /EW, construction of transmission lines including foundation, tower erection, stringing, testing and commissioning.

WATER & EFFLUENT TREATMENT

The Water & Effluente Treatment Business Unit offers turnkey project services involving civil, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation works with single point responsibility, including engineering, design, procurement, commissioning, operation & maintenance (O&M) works covering:

•     Water Transmission/ Distribution.
•     Water Treatment.
•     Wastewater Collection, Treatment and Disposal.
•     Industrial Effluents Treatment.
•     Rehabilitation of Pipelines.
